How To Carry Out Ddaily Maintenance For Valves
1. The valve shall be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and both ends of the passage shall be blocked.
2. The valve shall be checked regularly, dirt shall be removed from the valve, and anti-rust oil shall be applied on the valve surface.
3. Valves that have been installed and applied should be serviced periodically to ensure proper operation.
4. Valve sealing surfaces should be checked for wear and repaired or replaced as appropriate.
5. Check the wear of the trapezoidal thread of the valve rod and the valve rod nut, whether the packing is out of date, etc. and replace it if necessary.
6. The sealing performance of the valve shall be tested to ensure its performance.
7. Valves in operation shall be in good condition, bolts on flanges and supports shall be complete, threads shall be intact and free from looseness.
8. If the hand wheel is lost, it shall be provided in time and cannot be replaced with adjustable wrench.
9. The packing gland shall not be skew or have no pre-tightening clearance.
10. If the service environment of the valve is severe and the valve is easy to be contaminated by rain, snow, dust, sand and other dirt, the valve stem shall be installed with a protective cover.
11. The ruler on the valve shall be kept complete, accurate and clear, and the lead seal and cap of the valve.
12. Insulation jacket shall be free of dent and crack.
13. Avoid knocking the valve or supporting heavy objects during operation.
